What are residents saying about Mayor Brown? Below are some of the testimonials submitted by appreciative residents of the City of Buffalo. If you would like to submit a testimonial, click Testimonials or send an email to testimonials@mayorbyronbrown.com

Martin & Diane of South Buffalo:

"I want to thank Mayor Brown for all you have done for the city of Buffalo New York. You and your team have done more in the past few years than had ever even thought of in the past. I hope you continue to do the work you are doing and you have our votes and there is no doubt in our mind that you will continue to improve the City of Buffalo."

Chris H of Allentown:

"Byron Brown is establishing a new foundation for Buffalo. He has reduced property taxes, has produced a record budget surplus, and instituted important management and accountability reforms. This foundation is fixing a broken government and making it possible for City Hall to do good things again for the community. In the past four years he has embraced overhauling the city's antiquated zoning ordinance, has been genuinely responsive to preservation concerns, and has actively supported important new development efforts. His professionalism as our city's chief executive has easily earned him another four years!"

Shirley of the West Side:

"Re-elect our Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown. He really stays with the people for the people and routinely interacts with the public. We always know that he is on the job and on our side."

Frank from the North Park neighborhood:

"Mayor Brown has always been a class act. He very much cares about this city and the people of Buffalo. He has demonstrated that he can take command when an emergency happens and its clear he strives to make Buffalo excel. Mayor Brown, this city loves you, at least in the circles I live , and I live in a big circle. Always a follower of yours, Frank."

Tina Marie from the Masten District:

"I support Mayor Byron Brown because it is clear he makes decisions based on what real human beings are thinking and the issues that affect our lives everyday. Mayor Brown is cleaning up the city and doing things that really improve the community."

Mike from South Buffalo:

"I did not support Mayor Brown in his first run for Mayor in 2005. However, due to the outstanding level of service at the citizen resolution call center and excellent response times in overall constituent services, I have become a supporter of Mayor Brown's. Mayor Brown represents our city well and has also managed city finances well."

Phyllis from the Masten District:

"I am proud to support Mayor Brown. We are starting to really see progress on Jefferson Avenue, not just the talk we've heard for years, but real progress."

Marilyn from the West Village:

"When handed a legacy of incompetancy as Mayor Brown was on his Inauguration Day, most politicians would have conducted "business as usual" instead of taking careful thought and developing plans to remediate an entire city's worth of errors. Byron Brown has looked beyond the quick and dirty solutions and has stepped in the right direction of brick-by-brick rebuilding - BPD, Housing, Quality of Life and many more issues the neglected citizens faced for decades preceeding his administration.

Many may lay claim to his successes, but none compare to the Downtown Development he has instituted and put cranes to the air that has been on the planning table for over 15 years; the end of the Hickory Woods debacle; and lower overall crime rates considering the increase of crime nationwide due to our economic situation. Nope, Brown was there and got things done - in spite of detractors and hangers-on.

Keep the momentum going - Buffalo cannot be rebuilt in four years...but it's got a tremedous head start with Brown!"

Maurice from the Kensington Bailey District:

"I really believe that Mayor Brown truly cares about the safety of our city. I have witnessed him go door to door on several occasions after a tragic homicide to help residents feel comfortable about coming forth with information. By tearing down these abandoned drug houses, Mayor Brown has made the neighborhood safer and look so much better.  I work in the criminal justice system and I hear kids talk about how the police are cracking down on crime. We owe that to Mayor Brown because he has made fighting crime a priority. Good luck Mayor Brown, I got ya back!"

Frederick of the Old First Ward:

"There are a lot of reasons why I will support Mayor Brown, but the biggest thing is his leadership skills. Mayor Brown has shown great leadership in the way he's handling our city's many challenges that have been building for decades prior to the Mayor taking office. From housing issues, crime, new housing, new projects and the budget, Mayor Brown has shown he is the best man to bring this city back to where it should be. Job will be done Mayor Brown and his office.

Jennifer from North Buffalo:

"I'm a working mother and can't afford to spend hours trying to get the right person on the phone to answer a simple question. Since Mayor Brown has come into office, the City of Buffalo has made leaps and bounds in this area. It makes a huge difference. Anyone who has called 311 knows what I'm talking about."

Tom from Lovejoy:

"Mayor Brown has demonstrated that he cares about all neighborhoods in the City of Buffalo, not just the rich ones. While I may only be 29 years old, he has been the best mayor in the City during my lifetime."

Alex from Arvada, CO:

"Although I do not live in the great city of Buffalo, I have seen what Mayor Brown has done and I compelled to endorse him for re-election after the great things he has accomplished in his first term as Mayor. Mayor Brown will be able to make Buffalo even greater in his second term serving the citizens of Buffalo."
