NARAL PRO-CHOICE NEW YORK ENDORSES MAYOR BROWN FOR RE-ELECTION

Group Highlights Mayor’s “Dedication to and Support of Reproductive Rights Issues”

BUFFALO – NARAL Pro-Choice New York has announced its endorsement of Mayor Byron W. Brown for re-election as Mayor of the City of Buffalo.

In an August 21st letter, Sabrina Shulman, Political Director of NARAL Pro-Choice New York, stated, “We are pleased to officially endorse you in your campaign for re-election to the office of Mayor of Buffalo. NARAL Pro-Choice New York would like to thank you for your dedication to and support of reproductive rights issues.”

“I’m very pleased to receive the support of NARAL Pro-Choice New York,” said Mayor Brown. “I have long supported the protection of women’s reproductive health and freedom; I will continue to advocate for women’s access to choices, information and quality health services.”

In addition to the support of NARAL Pro-Choice New York, Mayor Brown has received the endorsement of the United Steelworkers District 4, the New York State Public Employees Federation; District Council 35; AFSCME Local 264; the Buffalo Teachers Federation; SEIU Local 200 United; Building Trade Inspectors Association Local 2651; AFSCME Local 650; Boilermakers Local # 7; the International Union of Elevator Constructors, Local 14; the Buffalo Building & Construction Trades Council; the Western New York Chapter of the Working Families Party; the Erie County Independence Party; the Erie County Conservative Party; the Western New York Hispanic & Friends Association; Goin’ South; and the Buffalo Educational Support Team.
