On May 9, 2009, Mayor Brown announced his intention to seek a second term as Mayor of the City of Buffalo. Joining him on stage were: NYS Assemblywoman Crystal Peoples; Erie County Legislator Tim Kennedy; NYS Assemblyman Mark Schroeder; Masten District Councilman Demone Smith; North District Councilman Joe Golombek; NYS Senator Antoine Thompson; and US Congressman Brian Higgins.
